Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as delrin, acetal, polyacetal and polyformaldehyde, is an engineering thermo-plastic used in precision parts requiring high stiffness, low friction and excellent dimensional stability. POM is commonly extruded as continuous lengths of round or rectangular section.
